Our production facility is equipped with two SMT surface-mount assembly lines, as well as a through-hole assembly area, which allows us to perform automated PCB assembly of any complexity. A selective soldering system helps accelerate THT assembly operations. Our specialists assemble BGA, PGA, LGA, and similar microcircuits.
Our company has mastered various assembly technologies, including leaded and lead-free processes, as well as mixed technology, high- and low-temperature PCB soldering, no-clean processes, water-soluble fluxes, and RMA materials based on natural rosin.
Sourcing electronic components for customer orders is a highly demanded service. Over more than 25 years, as part of the MicroEM Group, we have developed significant expertise in completing BOMs for our customers.
Our company also performs PCB soldering using customer-supplied components. Careful handling of customer-supplied electronic components is one of our key advantages.
Our production facility, located in Zelenograd, Moscow, is equipped with two high-speed surface-mount assembly lines, as well as through-hole assembly and selective PCB soldering areas.
Since MicroEM Technologies is a contract electronics manufacturer, the equipment has been selected based on versatility for industrial production of a wide range of products under intensive operating conditions.
SMT assembly is performed on two fully automated lines with the following main specifications:
Through-hole PCB assembly is performed by assemblers experienced in working with products subject to high quality requirements, who have been trained and certified according to the IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies standard. We also handle orders involving volumetric assembly of electronic products.
The through-hole assembly area includes 20 ESD-safe workstations equipped with modern extraction systems and induction soldering stations. All applicable standards and requirements were taken into account when organizing this area.
All THT assembly employees are equipped with antistatic clothing, footwear, and antistatic wrist straps.
To reduce lead times for orders involving THT assembly, we use the highly flexible Jade Prodex Pillarhouse offline selective PCB soldering system with a rotary table for quick changeover, reduced loading time, and a Pillargen 80 nitrogen generator.
Cleaning assembled PCBs after assembly from flux residues and other contaminants is performed using inJet 388 TWIN CRRD equipment by DCT. This is an automatic inline three-chamber jet cleaning system for printed circuit boards with vertical loading and hot-air drying.
The uniqueness of this equipment lies in the absence of shadow zones, while final rinsing is performed with water with a very low controlled conductivity level of less than 5 µS/cm. This is very important for subsequent conformal coating of products.
The first chamber is designed for cleaning in a washing solution.
The second chamber performs preliminary rinsing.
The third chamber performs final rinsing and drying with hot air and an air knife.
Small batches of products are coated manually using French materials from ABchimie. Their coatings combine well with AIM Solder materials. Material compatibility and properties are confirmed by the BONO test. The cost of these coatings is determined by their high reliability and the requirements of the products they are applied to.
Conformal coating of large quantities of PCB assemblies is performed using Peters ELPEGUARD TWIN-CURE DSL 1600 E-FLZ_75 single-component thick-film UV-curing coating on two automatic selective coating lines based on Hybrid Coater HC-200 systems by DIMA.
Our production facility is capable of manufacturing products in three IPC classes:
Depending on the product class specified by the customer, the evaluation criteria for electronic assembly are defined. Each class has its own criteria for the desired result and acceptable condition. Our specialists are able to achieve exactly the level of quality specified in the customer’s requirements.
Quality control functions are distributed throughout the entire technological chain, which makes it possible to detect nonconformities at early stages of production and eliminate them promptly.
Product quality control is carried out using two online AOI systems, X-ray inspection, and optical microscopes. The ppm rate in the production of electronic equipment on printed circuit boards at our company reaches a value of less than 100. High results are achieved thanks to our own Quality Management System, which can be easily synchronized with our customers’ QMS to harmonize processes.
Production traceability is an important factor in long-term cooperation. It allows hidden issues that may appear during warranty operation of products to be quickly localized and corrected.
Depending on the scope of work, order lead times are calculated first, and the cost is then determined based on them. The cost of an assembly order depends on the number of components on the board, the total number of printed circuit boards, the need for manual assembly, and the technological options selected by the customer.
